Devotion.

Good evening everyone. I hope you all had an amazing day :) it's 11:33pm for me right now. I promised a better devotion so let's get to it.

So I want it to be on self control tonight. If we can not control ourselves what make's us clean and holy if we Lust after everything we want or need why can't us as Humans be happy with what we have.

1 Corinthians 25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air.27 But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. He's saying he has to practice self control and discipline everyday as well so that he is not mislead from his teachings and what the Lord had shown him what to say. 

Galatians 5. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit,you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21 envy,[d] drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, thatthose who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control;against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

A lot of people deal with it Christians as well Sexual attraction is the worst and easiest thing to do it's so easy to say its okay live like the world everyone else is doing it the world says it is okay. God Says it is not you may burn with passion then it is better to marry so you do not lose control. Your body your spirit your heart everything that makes you unique and beautiful belongs to your other half that perfect man for you young lady or that one perfect girl for you young man. wouldn't you like to have your wife clean and pure not ran through by a bunch of other dudes and not caring?? Same with you ladies wouldn't you rather have that one man that is clean and pure loves God and then Loves you with all his heart? That he would never hurt you and cause you pain? I think so I wish I had that guy before I messed up on dating a nonbeliever that had some deep issues. Okay and last but not least.

1 Timothy 2 8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. 9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds,appropriate for women who profess to worship God
